Unreal CIGI IG Game Project
The Unreal Editor game project for the image generator (IG) included in the Unreal CIGI IG Content.
Description
The Unreal Editor project in source form for the Unreal Engine game included in the
Unreal CIGI IG Content. This is an excellent example of a project for creating a CIGI-compatible IG using Unreal Engine, the FLAMES Unreal Engine option, and the free FLAMES CIGI IG Plugin for Unreal included in the project.
The game gets packaged as a game library and as a game client application. The game library executes in FLAMES and acts as the server for one or more client applications. Multiple instances of the client application (the IG) can be executed with a host simulation, one for each pilot. The server and clients communicate using Unreal multiplayer network communications.
Instructions for how to download and build this project are provided in the Unreal Example Content Documentation included in the
Unreal Flight Sim Content. In this documentation, search for Unreal CIGI IG Game Project. Studying the documentation and this project is a great way to learn how to develop CIGI-compatible IGs using Unreal Engine and FLAMES.
