Unreal Flight Sim Game Project

The Unreal Editor game project for the game included in the Unreal Flight Sim Content.

Description

The Unreal Editor project in source form for the Unreal Engine game included in the Unreal Flight Sim Content. This is an excellent example of a project for creating a fixed-wing aircraft flight simulator using Unreal Engine and the FLAMES Unreal Engine option.

The game gets packaged as a game library and as a game client application. The game library executes in FLAMES and acts as the server for one or more client applications. Multiple instances of the client application (the flight simulator) can be executed, one for each pilot. The server and clients communicate using Unreal multiplayer network communications.

Instructions for how to download and build this project are provided in the Unreal Example Content Documentation included in the Unreal Flight Sim Content. In this documentation, search for FlightSim Game Overview. Studying the documentation and this project is a great way to learn how to develop state-of-the-art flight simulators using Unreal Engine and FLAMES.
